Project Description

The goal of the website is to collect and publish relevant data about Walla Walla County. Our hope is that citizens of the county will use this website to gain a better understanding about their community. This will enhance the public debate as policy decisions are made concerning Walla Walla's future. The data in this website is offered as neutral information. We leave it up to the citizens to apply the information according to their individual value judgment. The Walla Walla Trends website is a work in progress. The trends have been developed using local, state, and federal databases. As the site evolves, we hope to add additional trends. The lead economic development agency for the Walla Walla Valley - the Port of Walla Walla - and the Institute for Public Policy and Economic Analysis at Eastern Washington University worked together to create this project with funding from the Washington State Department of Commerce.
