Project Description

Under the guidance and research of the Heinz Center, The State of the Nation’s Ecosystems is an annual report that attempts to lead policy makers in the right direction in regards to improving, or at least maintaining, the many different natural ecosystems in the United States. Uninhabited lands, waters, and other living resources are quantified as accurately as possible. Hopefully, with ecosystem indicators codified, any negative shift can be detected and dealt with before too much irrecoverable damage occurs.
