Project Description

The Santa Monica Sustainable City Plan was created in 1994 to enhance resources, prevent harm to the natural environment and human health, and benefit the social and economic well-being of the community for the sake of current and future generations. The program contains goals, indicators and targets designed to assist Santa Monica in looking at the deeper root causes of problems in the community, and to develop a method of evaluation focused on long term impacts.
