Nov 4, 2010 Albuquerque Community Indicator and Performance Measures Integration

The third webinar in CIC's Series on Community Indicators and Performance Measures (CI-PM) Integration Webinar Series will be held on Nov 4, 2010 at 9am PDT/noon EDT and will feature Ted Shogry and Jim Schnaible from the City of AlbuquerqueOffice of Management and Budget. Linking community goals and annual budgets has been codified in Albuquerque’s government for 35 years. However, it wasn’t until 1998 that an Indicators Progress Commission (IPC) was put in place to implement systematic performance measures. The initial stages of the IPC included involvement from the major, as well as a large community forum meant to gauge a collective consensus on long-term goals. Through this process, desired community conditions were adopted (DCCS), and became a priority in Aluquerque’s strategic management system. The IPC publishes a progress report every four years.  Registration information will be available shortly.
