CIC's Seventh Conference

Sept 30-Oct 2, 2009

Community Indicators Consortium's 2009 International Conference was held October 1-2, 2009 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington, USA. Optional training workshops were provided on September 30th. The theme of this year's conference was "Community Indicators as Tools for Social Change: Tracking Change and Increasing Accountability."  You may also be interested in programs and proceedings from prior CIC Conferences

 The conference was timely given the financial, social, and environmental issues facing communities. The 21st Century requires innovative leadership, a new approach to governance, and better ways to measure progress that ensure the limited resources available are addressing the most pressing problems and being used most effectively.
