Communities of Practice

The Community Indicators Consortium (CIC) encourages the development of affinity groups within the broader context of a global community of practice. Currently members from Florida and various regions in Canada are exploring the concept of regional affinity groups. There are many areas of practice and research that will benefit from the discourse that affinity groups will foster. It is envisioned that groups will focus around social indicators, quality of life, sustainability, health, equity, etc.

CIC's first Community of Practice is the Community Indicators-Performance Measure Integration WorkGroup.
